Biography

Nancymerina Keneth Shaidi is an accomplished Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) leader with nine years of experience spanning financial services, audit and assurance, insurance, and real estate. She is known for her strong analytical capability, strategic leadership, and deep expertise in risk management frameworks, governance structures, and financial integrity.

At DCB Commercial Bank, she serves as the Director of Risk and Compliance, where she oversees enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and policy frameworks that strengthen operational resilience and safeguard the bank’s financial stability.

Her career includes notable roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where she led audit engagements for major banks and insurance companies, and at Multichoice Tanzania, where she served as Control, Risk & Compliance Manager. In this capacity, she successfully led regional risk reviews and investigations across ten African countries, enhancing governance and compliance standards across multiple markets.

Nancymerina is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA–UK) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA–Tanzania). She holds a Master of Science in Real Estate from Henley Business School, University of Reading (UK), and a Bachelor of Science in Land Management and Valuation from Ardhi University (Tanzania).
