CPA Bertha Simon is a visionary financial executive with over 21 years of exceptional experience in the banking sector, currently serving as Director of Finance at DCB Commercial Bank Plc. She leads the bank's financial strategy, regulatory compliance, and performance oversight ensuring sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and transparency across all financial functions.

Her distinguished career includes prior leadership roles at Akiba Commercial Bank Ltd., where she served as Head of Treasury and General Manager Finance. There, she spearheaded liquidity optimization, asset-liability management, and income generation through strategic investment practices. She also led the transformation of treasury operations with technology-driven solutions that enhanced speed, security, and financial control.

Bertha is a Certified Public Accountant (ACPA, Tanzania) with a strong academic background, holding a Master of Business Administration in Corporate Management from Mzumbe University and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Management, specializing in Accounting, from the University of Dar es Salaam.
